The COVID-19 pandemic crisis put a lot of questions in front of humans. First, do we all have a good immune system? Second, how much hygiene did we maintain before the pandemic? Before the pandemic, those who maintained a good hygienic condition had no major problem to combat the COVID-19 virus.

The human body immune system is very crucial to combat all kinds of diseases. However, in this pandemic, many humans still got infected and suffered serious health problems despite good immune power. So, if you are confused in what manners do we keep our immunity best, read on. In this post, we mentioned certain ways which boost your immunity.

Ways to Improve Immunity During The Pandemic

Drink more water

First, staying hydrated is a crucial step to stay and build immunity power during the pandemic crisis. Remember, to keep the metabolism running in your body; it is advisable to drink eight to ten glasses of water. Also, most 60% to 70% of the human body comprises water. The more you are hydrated, the less toxins will be available in the body.

As a result, the chances of flu or any other disease reduces, which means no illness or syndrome. Therefore, health practitioners and scientists worldwide recommend drinking more water. However, a few of you misunderstood this concept by overhydration. For an adult, four to five litres of water is good. If not water, take fluid intakes like coconut water and fruit juices. This solution will also keep the metabolism system healthy.

Have a healthy diet

The major contributor to boosting immunity is the consumption of a healthy diet. By a nutritious diet, we mean to say a balanced diet and homemade foods only with less oil and suitable salts. If you are very health conscious, then low carb diets. Consume pulses, cereals, and fibrous foods in your daily diet.

Moreover, eat food supplements enriched with omega 3 and 6 fatty acids if possible. Hopefully, you have spices like garlic powder and black cumin in your dishes. These spices also boost immunity. One major vitamin that contributes to the body's immunity is Vitamin E. The major sources of consuming it are flax seeds and sunflower seeds. If possible, include these seeds as well in your daily diet. Today, even probiotic drinks are also available, which gives good taste and builds immune power.

Say no to stress

Focusing on one task is a must. Do not be a multi-tasker and overload yourself with loads of
functions. It is because these factors add to the stress value. As we all know, stress is bad for health. So, mental wellbeing is the most important factor in distressing yourself. Prolonged stress affects the immunity power, and we can suffer from several anxiety and mental disorders.

One major problem is overthinking. Today, millions of us suffer from this overthinking problem. Hence, youngsters today are suffering from several health problems. The scientific name of organisms of humans is Homo sapiens, and over the years, this species evolved. But, the stress factor is hampering the human community's mental wellbeing. A simple way to distress is not to overthink and practice meditation and yoga.

Exercise

Although during the lockdown, outdoor gyms are not open, and your workout session is missing! But, besides the gym, your home is also an exercise place. Either you can set up a gym in your home or practice light exercises regularly.

Spare 30 or 40 minutes for daily exercise either in the morning or in the evening and make your muscles and mindset healthy forever. It will improve metabolism, which further adds values on the immune power.
